Dermaplaning (blading) is another non-traumatic method of skin rejuvenation. It is an intensive facial skin treatment used to improve fine lines, crow's feet, splotchy pigmentation, sun damage, age spots and fine surface hair.

How is Dermaplaning performed?
It is safely performed by using a #10R or #10D blade (yes, a sterile surgical blade). The blade is held against the skin at a 45 degree angle and stroked along the skin, just like shaving. However, the Aesthetician is doing the stroking while holding the area of skin taut.

Is the treatment safe?
Yes, it is safe for all skin types.

What areas of the skin can be treated?
Dermaplaning the is performed on the face and Neck . We do not blade the eye lids or the chest.

What skin types/conditions can NOT be treated?
Most skin types can benefit from Dermaplaning, it is not recommend for those with active acne, raised moles or any raised lesions. Our Aesthetician's will take you through a complete skin analysis during your initial consultation.
